Alumni games set in Cobden

Cobden alumni basketball games are scheduled Saturday, Feb. 18. Games will be played in the Cobden School gym.

Three games are scheduled, starting at 2 p.m. with a young alumni men’s game.

At 3 p.m., the women will play. An old timers men’s game is set for 4 p.m.

The old timers will play against a Southern Illinois alumni team made up of players from several schools.

A book sale and signing featuring members of the 1964 Cobden High School boys’ basketball team is scheduled from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the gym lobby.

Any men who might be interested in playing are asked to contact David Stewart at 614-0337.

Supper Fellowship

A chili/soup supper fellowship is planned following the games from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Old Feed Store in downtown Cobden.

Alumni, family and friends are welcome to attend.
