The Lick Creek School Beta Club is planning to sponsor an American Red Cross blood drive. The blood drive is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 3, at the Union County school. To make an appointment to be a donor, or for more information, call the school at 833-2545.

Volunteers from the Anna-Jonesboro Community High School Student Council ran the check-in desk at an American Red Cross blood drive on Wednesday, Jan. 18. The blood drive was held in the lower gymnasium at the school. The drive resulted in 63 potential donors giving 53 units of blood.
