Anna man sentenced on two separate cocaine charges
Union County State’s Attorney Tyler R. Edmonds reported on Dec. 21 that Richard A. Wilson, 31, of 120 George St. in Anna had been sentenced to a total of 10 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections on two separate cocaine charges.
Wilson was sentenced to six years on one count of unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, which is a Class X felony.
Wilson also was sentenced to four years on one count of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, which is a Class 1 felony.
The sentences will run consecutively.
The charges stemmed from the execution of a search warrant at Wilson’s residence in November 2012 by the Union County Sheriff’s Office and a separate August 2012 investigation by the Southern Illinois Enforcement Group.
