Our error

Last week, a legal notice about a proposed school reorganization issue involving the Lick Creek, Anna, Jonesboro and Anna-Jonesboro Community High School districts in Union County was scheduled to run in The Gazette-Democrat. The notice had run twice and was slated to run for a third time; however, we did not run the legal notice as scheduled.

Since the legal did not run as scheduled, a public hearing about the school reorganization issue which had been scheduled for Tuesday evening, Nov. 1, at the Union County Courthouse in Jonesboro had to be postponed.
