Leon "Lee" James Dodd, 86, of Anna, died at 9:50 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, 2014 in the Illinois Veteran's Home in Anna. He was born Dec. 28, 1927 in Dongola, the son of Leland Oaks and Edith Eddleman Dodd.
He is survived by his nephew, Terry (Sharon) Grissom of Anna; great nephew, Terry Allen (Stefanie) Grissom of Carrier Mills; great niece, Angela (Rick) Johnson of Anna; five great-great nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Gail Grissom; two brothers, Joe and Mark Dodd.
<p class="p1">Michael Hill, 74, of Cairo, and formerly of Decatur, died at 9:05 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 30, 2014, at Daystar Nursing and Rehab.</p><p class="p1">Private burial will be at Pleasant Grove Memorial Park.</p><p class="p1">Crain Funeral Home of Cairo is in charge of arrangements.</p><p class="p1">To leave online condolences, visit www.crainsonline.com.</p>
