Carl R. Childers, 67, of Cobden, died at 1:46 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2016 in the Union County Hospital in Anna. He was born Aug. 30, 1948 in Anna, the son of Charles and Lucille (Kirkpatrick) Childers. He married Brenda Braggs on April 1, 1967 in the Union Springs Baptist Church in Cobden.

Ricky Wayne Garrett, 57, of Energy, formerly of Anna, died at 5:40 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22, 2016 in the Helia Healthcare Center in Energy. He was born May 3, 1958 in Anna, the son of Harold and Betty Jane (Eastwood) Garrett.
