The Christmas holiday season is set to kick off this weekend in the City of Anna.
Two special events are planned on Saturday, Nov. 28:
June Marie Minor, 59, of Mounds, died at 2:25 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, 2020, at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis.
William L. “Bill” Musgrave, 72, of Cobden, died Sunday, Nov. 22, 2020, at the Marion VA Medical Center.
Rural Health, Inc. will be offering drive-up COVID-19 testing on Saturday, Nov. 28, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at their Anna clinic.
Ira D. Tripp Jr., 53, died suddenly and unexpectedly at home on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2020.
He was born in Muncie, Ind., on June 10, 1967. He was the son of Ira Dugan and Linda Irene Tripp.
Steven Michael Womack, 68, of Jonesboro, died Friday, Nov. 20, 2020, at his home.
He was born on Dec. 10, 1951, in Anna, the son of Bob Womack.
Rex Goforth, 62, of Cobden, died Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020, at Union County Hospital in Anna.
He was born on June 7, 1958, in Du Quoin, the son of Ray Tony and Aretta Faye Gibson Goforth.
Judith K. (Heck) Gray died on Nov. 20, 2020, at her home, with her family at her side.
Judy was born in Carbondale, the daughter of Kenneth and Lucille May Heck, on Aug. 26, 1942.
Jean K. Kohler, 79, of Anna, died Saturday, Nov. 21, 2020, at Manor Court in Carbondale.
She was born on Feb. 7, 1941, in Jonesboro, the daughter of Herbert and Agnes Barnhart Coats.
