Mary Emily Taflinger of Miller City, died peacefully on Monday evening, Dec. 7, 2020, at the Lutheran Nursing Home. She was surrounded by her loving family at the time of passing.

Carol Jean Peddie, 91, of Wickliffe, Ky., and formerly of Cairo, died at 3:28 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, 2020, at Lourdes Mercy Hospital in Paducah, Ky.
Jadyn Gerardi of Lick Creek has had quite a cross country career, considering she is only in the 6th grade. She just keeps adding to her resume every time she runs.
