The Union County Alliance of Churches has announced that the location of the 2021 National Day of Prayer service has been changed.
Brenda Gail Sadler, 68, of Dongola, died Saturday, May 1, 2021, at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale.
Nellie Kathryn Ellis, 80, of Pomona, died Sunday, May 2, 2021, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, surrounded by her husband and their four daughters.
James L. Stamp, 86, of Wolf Lake, died Thursday, April 29, 2021, at Jonesboro Rehab and Health Care Center.
Mike Harvel, 63, of Jonesboro, died Sunday, May 2, 2021, at his home.
He was born on June 27, 1957, the son of Wilistene George and June Penninger Harvel.
Jane Ellen Yates, 89, of Mt. Pleasant, died Monday, May 3, 2021, at her home. She was born May 6, 1931, in Cobden, the daughter of Claude and Hazel Bilderbeck Anderson.
