Charles Duane “Chuck” Foster
Charles Duane “Chuck” Foster, 69, formerly of Jonesboro, died on Nov. 18, 2012, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
He graduated from Galesburg High School in 1961. He graduated from Railroad Communications in 1963, Kansas City Community College in 1965, and Sangamon State University in 1972, earning a business administration degree.
He worked at Bunny Bread for 26 years and then owned and operated Foster Cleaning Service, a multistate company that he ran for 12 years, before retiring in 2000.
He was born on March 2, 1943, the son of Charles and Betty Foster.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Lois Foster; sons Joshua (Amy) Foster, Aaron (Julie) Foster, Vince Foster and Larry Foster; daughters Stephanie (Brett) Findlay, Sandy (Cary) Wisecup and Emma Foster; brothers Larry (Barb) Foster and Thomas (Rhea) Foster; 19 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
