Charles L. “Bud” Harvell, Sr.

<strong>Charles L. “Bud” Harvell, Sr., 83, of Tamms, died at 4:17pm on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.</strong>

<strong>He was born on Jan. 1, 1929 in Tamms to George and Ocee (Crocker) Harvell.  He married Ebby Patterson on April 1, 1960.  She preceded him in death on June 6, 2012.</strong>

<strong>He was an ordained Pentecostal minister, a mechanic and drove for D & K Pharmaceuticals.</strong>

<strong>He is survived by 8 daughters, Mary Jane Enmon of Tamms, Sandra (Steve) Miller of Carterville, Jessie Smith of Tamms, Wanda (Barry) Edwards of Ridgecrest, CA, Brenda (Jr.) Blattel of Anna, Cathy Russell of Cobden, Debbie (Billy) Poole of Tamms, Pam (Rickie) Williams of Cobden; 1 son, Pike (Charleen) Harvell of Cape Girardeau, MO; daughter-in-law Brenda Harvell of Wickliffe; 21 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; 1 sister Freeda Miller of Chaffee, MO; nieces, nephews and other relatives. </strong>

<strong>He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; two sons, Thomas Charles and Ronnie Dean Harvell; 4 sisters, Ruby Ice; Viola Twente; Zula Melvin & Hazel Newell; 2 brothers, Plez & Harley Harvell.</strong>

<strong>At Bud’s request, a private graveside service was held at McCrite Cemetery.</strong>

<strong>Memorials may be made to McCrite Cemetery & can be sent to Crain Funeral Home, PO Box 257, Anna, IL.</strong>

<strong>Crain Funeral Home Tamms was in charge of arrangements.</strong>
