Clarence "CE" Penninger

Clarence "CE" Penninger, 72, of Kaneville, died in the early morning hours of Nov. 2, 2013, surrounded by family at his home.

Mr. Penninger was born on May 6, 1941, in Anna, the son of Clarence and Lois Boyd Penninger.

He attended local schools before graduating with the Anna-Jonesboro Community High School class of 1959.

He was a devoted member of the Village Bible Church in Sugar Grove.

Survivors include his wife, Lois Penninger; a son, Kenneth (Terina) Penninger of Mesa, Ariz.; daughters Katrina (David) Winograd of Mattoon and Pamela Click of Metropolis; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a sister, Susan Hase of Anna.

He was preceded in death by his parents and by a daughter, Jenny.

Visitation and funeral services were Wednesday, Nov. 6, at Village Bible Church in Sugar Grove. Burial was in the Kaneville Township Cemetery.

Memorials can be made to the Kaneville Fire Department or to the Village Bible Church. Checks can be made to the organization and mailed in care of PO Box 66, Elburn, Ill. 60119.
