<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Clay White, 60, of Cairo died at 3:50AM Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Day Star Care Center in Cairo.</span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;"> </span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">He was born on January 13, 1950 in Cairo to William W. and Judith (Chrestman) White.<span style=""> </span></span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;"> </span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">He graduated from the St. Mary’s High School in Paducah in 1967.<span style=""> </span> He worked at the family owned grocery store- Chrestmans Food Center in Cairo and later worked at Delta Drug in maintenance.<span style=""> </span> He was a Master Mason 32nd degree at Cairo Lodge #237 AF & AM.<span style=""> </span> Mr. White was a member of the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Cairo and the Knights of Columbus.</span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">He is survived by 1 brother, James W. White of Mounds;</span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">2 sisters, Suzy Holland of Cairo and Ellie Nixon of Mounds;</span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Nieces, Erica Thurston, Jessica Duncan and Jennifer Korte;</span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Nephews, Forrest Nixon, Ben and Marcus Rushing;</span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Great nieces, great nephews and other relatives</span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;"> </span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">He was preceded in death by his parents.</span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Visitation will be held from 11:00AM-1:00PM Friday, <span style=""> </span>January 7, 2011 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Cairo.</span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Funeral Services will be held at 1:00PM Friday in St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with Father John Agbasiere and Larry Potts officiating.<span style=""> </span> Interment will be in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens at Villa Ridge.<span style=""> </span></span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Crain Funeral Home in Tamms is in charge of arrangements.</span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Memorials may be made to Tip Hospice envelopes will be available at the church.</span></strong></p>
