Cobden 66, Dongola 46

Robby Lehr tossed in 22 points to power Cobden to a 66-46 win over host Dongola in South Egyptian Conference  high school boys’ basketball action Friday, Dec. 11.

Steve Draper added 20 points for the Appleknockers. Alex Sweitzer netted 16 points, Gage Wright, Allan Brumleve, Josh Chapman and Josh Aspen 2 each.

Austin Hinkle had 20 points to lead the Demons. Tyler Thompson added 9 points, Tyler Eddleman and Darin Gibson 6 apiece, Chris Cohin  3 and Jordan Eads 2.

Cobden took over in the second quarter after leading 11-10 after one quarter. The Appleknockers led 32-18 at the half and 50-27 going into the final period.
