Cobden celebrates Christmas in the Village

The First Baptist Church in Cobden presented a live nativity scene. The scene was set up near downtown Cobden.
Local artist Marilyn Boysen created paper Christmas trees at the Union County Museum. The trees were created to help Parkinson's research and support those impacted by the disease.
Carolers sang at the Union County Museum.
Christmas tree lights were on display following a ceremony Saturday evening at the park in downtown Cobden.
Music was performed at the Union Congregational Church by Norma and Danny Weaver of Cobden.
Nearly 50 nativity sets were on display at the Union Congregational Church.
Santa and Mrs. Claus (Charles and Frances Swedlund) had some special helpers: "elves" Perla Lopez, Zoe Fuhrhop and Rosa Lopez. The elves are members of the Cobden High School Beta Club. They greeted visitors at The Old Feed Store.
