Dorothy Mae Treece

Dorothy Mae Treece, 74, of Ware, died at 6:20 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012, at Jonesboro Rehab and Healthcare in Jonesboro.

She was born on Aug. 23, 1938, in Anna, the daughter of Clyde Treece and Bertha Ayers Treece.

She was owner and operator of Von Dot Restaurant for over 20 years.

She is survived by her daughter, Vonda (Steve) Benefield of Anna; two grandchildren, Skylar and Brayden Benefield; two sisters, Doris Rumfelt of Jonesboro and Opal Glasco of Marion; nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Jim Treece, Joe Treece and Junior Treece; and two sisters, Mary and Martha.

Graveside services were Wednesday, Dec. 5, at 10 a.m. at the Anna City Cemetery with the Rev. Davy Miller officiating.

Crain Funeral Home Anna-Jonesboro was in charge of arrangements.

Memorials can be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Research Hospital.
