Ella Mae Haase

Ella Mae Haase, 89, of Anna, died at 5 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014 in the Jonesboro Rehab and Health Care Center. She was born April 4, 1925 in Anna, the daughter of Leo K. and Mabel Brown Bernhard. She married John Martin Haase Jr. on April 26, 1947 in Jonesboro. He preceded her in death on May 30, 2009.

She is survived by her son, John Martin III (Barb) Haase of Dongola; daughter, Karen Ruth Toler of Jonesboro; two grandchildren, Melissa (Nathan) Corbit and Sean Haase; one great-grandchild on the way; one sister, Maxine (Ron) Ellis of Jonesboro; one sister in law, Lois Haase of Palos Heights, Illinois; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Martin Haase Jr. and one sister, Gladys Bernhard and one brother in law, Bill Haase.

She was a 1942 graduate of Anna-Jonesboro Community High School. She was a member of the Mt. Moriah Lutheran Church in Anna.

She owned and operated a mobile home park in Eagle River Wisconsin for many years.

Funeral services were at noon on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2014 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Pastor Kathy  Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Moriah Lutheran Church. Envelopes will be available in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
