Georgia Larry Mowery

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Georgia Larry Mowery, 86, of Mountain Home, AR, formerly of Ullin, died Monday at Care Manor Nursing Home in Mountain Home.</span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;"> </span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">She was born on April 30, 1925 in Hannibal, Missouri the daughter of Rev. George C. and Viola (Schroeder) Jurrens.<span style=""> </span> She married Norman Larry in 1947, he preceded her in death in 1980.<span style=""> </span> She then married Bruce Mowery in 1982, he preceded her in death in 2007.</span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;"> </span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">She retired from Wonder Market in Cairo after 32 years of service then worked as a hostess at Crain Funeral Homes from 1986-2002.<span style=""> </span> Georgia, along with her husband, Bruce, and friends Wilda and Dimple made several mission trips to West Virginia to start the Hope Chapel Baptist Church.<span style=""> </span> She was a member of the 1<sup>st</sup> Baptist Church of Ullin.</span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;"> </span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Georgia was a committed Christian and loved being with her church family and friends. Her beautiful smile was her wonderful trade mark which caused her to never meet a stranger. She loved caring for her family and devoted her entire life in service of giving to others.</span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;"> </span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">She is survived by her son Barney (Debbie) Larry of Mountain Home, Arkansas; 3 grandchildren, Lindsey (Dell) Leonard, Bryce Larry all of Mountain Home, Arkansas, and Tonya (Shawn) Jenkins of Prattville, Alabama; 2 great grandchildren, Grant & Reid Jenkins; 1 great-great-grandchild, Aubrey Jenkins; 2 step-sons, Jeff and David Mowery of Olmsted.</span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;"> </span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">She was preceded in death by her husbands, parents, and 1 brother Stanley Jurrens in 2000.</span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;"> </span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Visitation will be Monday, Dec. 26, from 4-8 at Crain Funeral Home in Ullin.</span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;"> </span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Funeral services will be Tuesday, Dec. 27, at 10am at the First Baptist Church in Ullin. Interment will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens.</span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;"> </span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Ullin and will be accepted at the funeral home.</span></strong></p>
