Gino N. Dal Ponte

Gino N. Dal Ponte, 77, of Highland Park, died at 8:20 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, in rural Pulaski County.

He was born on Oct. 24, 1935, in Highland Park, the son of Albino and Mary Lazzaretto Dal Ponte.

He married Kay Smith on Nov. 10, 1956.

He was owner of Dal Ponte Interiors for over 50 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge No. 446 with a Pilgrim Degree and held the office of administrator.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria Kay Dal Ponte of Highland Park; one son, Gary, of Highland Park; two daughters, Viki (Terry) Rieder of Eden, Wis., and Karen Luttrell of Highland Park; two grandsons, Shaun Luttrell of Eagle River, Wis., and Nicky Luttrell of Highland Park; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and close friends in the Southern Illinois area.

He was preceded in death by his parents and by Kay’s parents, Curtis and Faye Smith.

Saturday, Nov. 24, a Pilgrim Service was held at Highland Park Moose Lodge No. 446, Highland Park. Interment will be private.
