Grand jury indicts Anna man on charge of drug induced homicide
Union County State's Attorney Tyler R. Edmonds reported on Wednesday that a Union County grand jury has returned indictments again David M. Olshon, 54, of 324 S. Main St. in Anna in connection with the death of Jami Restivo in January of this year.
Edmonds reported that Olshon is charged with one count of drug induced homicide, a Class X felony; one count of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, a Class 1 felony; and one count of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, a Class 3 felony.
Restivo was found dead at Olshon's residence on Jan. 11.
Olshon was indicted by the Union County grand jury following an extensive investigation by the Illinois State Police.
Olshon is alleged to have provided controlled substances to Jami Restivo in the days prior to her death.
Olshon was taken into custody Tuesday, Dec. 11, by the Illinois State Police.
He is being held at the Jackson County Jail in Murphysboro on $250,000 bond.
Olshon is scheduled to have a first appearance in Union County Circuit Court in Jonesboro at 9 a.m. Thursday, today.
