Healthy Woman program seeks business partners

The Union County Hospital Healthy Woman Program is seeking community business partners for 2012. 

Business partners are given extensive advertising exposure and speaking opportunities throughout the year.

"This is an excellent opportunity for businesses to market their services to a captive audience through monthly e-mails, direct mail pieces, a quarterly newsletter, and internet exposure depending upon their level of partnership," said Mary Nash-Swink, the hospital's marketing director.

The Healthy Woman program is guided by an advisory council made up of local women.

The focus of the program is to bring relevant information to the women of the community. 

The vision is to provide quarterly seminars to help educate women on the need for a healthy body, mind and spirit. 

The program launched in February 2007. The membership-based program was created to empower women with the knowledge and confidence to make informed healthcare and well-being decisions for themselves and their loved ones.    

The Healthy Woman program plans to have its annual anniversary event on March 29.  

The evening will include a Women’s Expo, where business partners will have an opportunity to showcase their business, followed by a dinner and keynote speaker, Eliz Greene, who is a national spokesperson for the American Heart Association.
