High school journalism funds available
<p class="p1">The Illinois Press Foundation again is offering its Illinois High School Mini-Grants Program for public and private high schools with existing journalism programs. </p><p class="p1">High school journalism teachers can apply for grants of up to $1,500 for hardware and/or software needed to produce print or online newspapers.</p><p class="p1">This is the sixth year the foundation has offered the grants. During 2014, $20,000 was awarded to more than 24 high schools. </p><p class="p1">Grant applications are due to be submitted by email by Feb. 27, 2015, to Barry Locher, director, Illinois Press Foundation, at blocher@illinoispress.org. </p><p class="p1">Complete information can be found at http://illinoispress.org/.</p>
