Hubert L. Clover

<p style="line-height: 150%;" class="MsoNormal"><strong style=""><span style="font-size: 14pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Cambria;">Mr. Hubert L. Clover age 91, of Alto Pass, died at 9:10 p.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at the Illinois Veterans Home in Anna. He was born November 2, 1921 in Pomona, the son of Edward Monroe and Lena Franklin Clover. He married Mary E. Hale on July 27, 1947 in Alto Pass. She preceded him in death on May 25, 1994.</span></strong></p>

<p style="line-height: 150%;" class="MsoNormal"><strong style=""><span style="font-size: 14pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Cambria;"><span style="">        </span> Hubert is survived by his children, Sandra (James) Carter of Anna, Steven (Debbie) Clover of Alto Pass, Rhonda Ballard of Coleman, TX, Daniel Clover and fiancé Pat Pitts of Alto Pass, Timothy (Dina) Clover of Cobden, Kevin (Martha) Clover of Anna, Mary Rebecca (Dan) Hillyer of Springfield, IL; eighteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; one sister, Ruby Black of Granite City, IL; one brother, Ralph (Beulah) Clover of Ava; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Clover; parents; one brother, Leonard Clover; two granddaughters, Sarah and Penny; and one grandson, Daniel.</span></strong></p>

<p style="line-height: 150%;" class="MsoNormal"><strong style=""><span style="font-size: 14pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Cambria;"><span style="">        </span> Hubert proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He retired from the State of Illinois Forestry Service. Hubert was also a member of AFCME Local 141.</span></strong></p>

<p style="line-height: 150%;" class="MsoNormal"><strong style=""><span style="font-size: 14pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Cambria;"><span style="">        </span> Funeral services for Mr. Hubert L. Clover will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 24, 2011 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Alto Pass with Brother Paul Tirey officiating. Interment will be in the Walker Hill Cemetery in Grand Tower. Military honors will be conducted at the graveside by the Carroll P. Foster Post #3455 of the</span></strong></p>

Friends may call after 9:00 am and until the funeral hour on Saturday, December 24, 2011 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Alto Pass. Memorial contributions may be made to the Illinois Veterans Home Activity Fund. Envelopes will be available at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Alto Pass.</span></strong></p>
