In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Deryl Wright and Walter Leon Wright.

Jimmy attended the Ullin Baptist Church.

“Jimmy had made mistakes in his life, but had paid the price for his mistakes.  For all that truly knew him, knew that Jimmy had a kind soul and would do anything to help you out if he could.  Even though Jimmy could not walk well and had only the use of one arm for many years, you couldn’t tell him that he couldn’t do something he set his mind to do.  He would do his best to prove you wrong. Jimmy held the Newberry family close to his heart, Marie, Collin, Ronnie, Karen and Steven. Our family would like to thank them for all that they have done for Jimmy. Jimmy was a donor for life. He had signed his donor card in the hope that he might help at least one person. But, the donor organization indicated that Jimmy’s gift would be able to help at least 50 people. How amazing, Little Brother.  We are so proud of you.  Even though we may not see you with our eyes anymore, you will be forever in our hearts. We will miss you dearly Little Brother.”
