Jill Wise Childers
<p style="line-height: 150%;" class="MsoNormal"><strong style=""><span style="font-size: 14pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Cambria;">Mrs. Jill Wise Childers, age 35 of Marion, died at 4:48 a.m. Saturday, December 3, 2011 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, MN from mixed connective tissue disease and pulmonary hypertension. She was born May 3, 1976 in Carbondale, the daughter of Robert and Jean Koelling Wise. She married Dale Childers on July 8, 2000 in Marion.</span></strong></p>
<p style="line-height: 150%;" class="MsoNormal"><strong style=""><span style="font-size: 14pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Cambria;"><span style=""> </span> Jill is survived by her husband Dale of Marion; one daughter, Audrey Childers of Marion; parents, Robert and Jean Wise of Marion; one brother, Paul Wise of Marion; niece, Katelynn Wise; father and mother in law, Rufus and Beverly Childers of Creal Springs; brothers in law, Kenny (Chrissy) Childers, Randy (Michelle) Childers all of Goreville; sister in law, Melissa (Micah) Norris of Marion; nieces, Mariah Norris, Daisy and Lucy Childers; nephews, Colton, Dustin, and Ethan Childers, Dakotah and Austin Norris; extended family; other relatives and many friends.</span></strong></p>
<p style="line-height: 150%;" class="MsoNormal"><strong style=""><span style="font-size: 14pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Cambria;"><span style=""> </span> Jill is a graduate of Marion High School and Southern Illinois University. She received degrees in Radiologic Science, Health Care Management and Physician Assistant. She worked for Primary Care in Harrisburg, Dr. Morgan and Dr. Harryman. Jill also worked for Southern Illinois Orthopedic Center and the Center for Medical Arts in Carbondale, formerly the Carbondale Clinic as a Physician’s Assistant.</span></strong></p>
<p style="line-height: 150%;" class="MsoNormal"><strong style=""><span style="font-size: 14pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: Cambria;"><span style=""> </span> Jill was a member of the Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Marion. She was a loving wife, mother and daughter; she will be dearly missed and warmly remembered by all who knew her.</span></strong></p>

Interment will be in the Ebenezer Hall Cemetery in Lick Creek. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. and until the funeral hour on Thursday, December 8, 2011 at the Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Marion. <span style=""> </span>In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Childers Family to help with medical expenses, or Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.<span style=""> </span> Envelopes will be available at the church.
