<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt;">He was born on April 7, 1942 to John Henry and Inez Fay (Ackley) Woodrick in Benton Harbor, Mich.<span style=""> </span></span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt;"> </span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt;">John was the “guitar” man.<span style=""> </span> The musician’s musician.</span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt;"> </span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt;">He his survived by 1 brother, Paul (Patty) Scott of Benton, IL;</span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt;">1 sister, Cammie Crandall of Columbia, KY;</span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt;">1 niece, Celeste Marc of St. Charles, IL;</span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt;">1 nephew, Paul Milk of Peachtree City, GA;</span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt;">5 cousins, Pat Orsburn of Tamms, Joyce Huff and JoAnne Allen both of Cincinnati, OH<span style=""> </span> and Richard and Dennis Cowell of California.</span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt;">1 aunt, Geneva Cowell of California.</span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt;">And his musical friends- Roger and Robert Shirley.</span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt;"> </span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt;">He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 son John Jr.</span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt;"> </span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt;">Visitation will be held from 11:00-1:00PM Monday, January 17, 2011 at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms.</span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt;"> </span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt;">Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM on Monday, January 17, 2011 at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms with Pastor Joyce Huff officiating.<span style=""> </span> Interment will follow in the Alto Pass Cemetery with military honors by the Carroll P. Foster Post #3455 and the Illinois National Guard Honors Unit.</span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 16pt;">Memorials may be made to Real Life Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.</span></strong></p>
