Jonesboro 46, Century 40

Tyler Vaughn scored 13 points to lead host Jonesboro to a 46-40 win over Century in junior high school boys’ basketball Monday, Jan. 4.

Zane DeWitt added 7 points for Jonesboro. Noah Fuller and Damian Reed had 6 points apiece, Trey Pender and Ben McFarland 4 each and Dakota Easterly, Garrett Nadeau and Derek Harvell 2 apiece.

Nadeau scored 12 points to lead Jonesboro to a 51-20 win over Century in the junior varsity game.

DeWitt added 11 points, Dallas Marks and Harvell 8 apiece, Fuller 6 and Isaac Pender, Garrett Cook and Garrett Nimmo 2 apiece.

Jonesboro’s varsity improved to 8-4. The junior varsity improved to 9-0.
