Jonesboro girls improve to 9-1

Taylor Smith scored 14 points to lead Jonesboro to a 51-8 win over host Egyptian in junior high school girls’ basketball action Monday, Nov. 28.

Jaycee Pender added 8 points and 3 steals  for Jonesboro. Megan Silliman had 8 points and 6 rebounds, Aliah Delgado had 6 points and 6 rebounds and Livi Hess had 6 points and 2 steals.

Jamie Hammond had 8 rebounds, Madi Calhoun had 5 assists and Hailley Abernathy had 2 steals.  Smith also blocked a shot.

Jonesboro improved to 9-1 overall.
