Kathleen Winn
Mrs. Kathleen Winn, age 90 of Saratoga, died at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 18, 2014 in the Jonesboro Rehab and Nursing Center. She was born April 8, 1923 in Saratoga, the daughter of George and Nancy Catherine “Nannie” Russell Lence. She married David Darwin Williams; following his death she married Ray Rendleman. Later she married Collin Winn.
Kathleen is survived by her daughter, Jean (Wayne) Lazenby of Burlington, WI; two sons, Gary L. (Linda) Rendleman of Saratoga, Larry Rendleman of Jonesboro; nine grandchildren, Jeremy, Heather, Lisa, Laura, Nick, Adam, Michelle, Samantha and Michael; six great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; two daughters, Kay Acuff and Margaret Rendleman; one son, Jerry Rendleman; brothers and sisters, Ernie Lence, Alice Martin, Truman Lence, Sibyl Miller, and Frank Lence.
Kathleen was a member of the Saratoga Methodist Church, she was proud of the fact she joined the Church at the age of 14 and was baptized in the Russell Hole. She worked many years in the Florshiem Shoe Factory.
The Winn family would like to thank the kind staff of the Jonesboro Rehab and Nursing Center and Hospice of Southern Illinois for the exceptional care Kathleen received.
Funeral services for Mrs. Kathleen Winn will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 21, 2014 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna with Bill Littrell officiating. Interment will be in the Dongola American Legion Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, January 20, 2014 in the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jonesboro Rehab and Nursing Center Activity Fund or to Hospice of Southern Illinois. Envelopes will be available at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
