Lady ‘Cats win twice

After losing three consecutive games, Anna-Jonesboro bounced back to win a pair of games in recent action.

The following are game summaries:

A-J 52, Chrisman 26: Chandra Parr scored 12 points to lead the Lady Wildcats to the win in the Cobden Shootout Saturday, Dec. 11.

Kim Mixen added 10 points for A-J. Erica Friebel had 8 points, Rebecca Mitchell and Brooke Chamness 6 apiece, J.J. Ford and Katie Edwards 4 each and Kylie Foster 2.

The Lady Wildcats led 12-5 after one quarter and 24-11 at the half. A-J was on top 36-21 going into the final period.

A-J 46, West Frankfort 42: Destiny Dillow scored 20 points to lead visiting A-J to the win Thursday, Dec. 9.

Chandra Parr added 9 points, Jessi Stone 8, Mitchell 6 and Basler 3.

The Lady Wildcats led 11-6 after one quarter and 21-12 at the half. A-J led 34-30 going into the final period.

A-J, 5-4, is scheduled to play Thursday, today, at Chester.
