Larry Gene Rosson

<p style="text-indent: 0.5in;" class="MsoNormal"><strong style=""><span style="font-size: 13pt; font-family:">Larry Gene Rosson, age 69 of Jonesboro, died at 2:48 am, Wednesday, December 1, 2010 surrounded by his family at Union County hospital in Anna.<span style=""> </span> He was born on November 1, 1941 in Anna, the son of Harry and Helen (McMillion) Rosson.<span style=""> </span></span></strong></p>

<p style="text-indent: 0.5in;" class="MsoNormal"><strong style=""><span style="font-size: 13pt; font-family:"><span style=""> </span>Larry was a member of the Lockard Chapel Baptist Church. He worked as a construction foreman for Vincent Construction Company for over 30 years.<span style=""> </span> He also was the Superintendant for the city of Jonesboro for ten years and was a 50 year member of the Laborers International Union of North America Laborers Local #773.</span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong style=""><span style="font-size: 13pt; font-family:"><span style="">           </span> Survivors include two children, Dawna (David) Gregge of Jonesboro, and Lt. Col. Steven (Johanna) Rosson of Fort Hood, TX; five grandchildren, Rachel (Bob) Taylor, Justin Gregge, Scott, Joshua and William Rosson; two great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Noah Taylor; three brothers, Harry Dwain Rosson of Harvard, IL, Kenneth (Annie) Rosson of Jonesboro, and Phillip Rosson of Port Orange, FL; three sisters, Patricia Smith of Normal, IL, Shelby (John) Pickel of Jonesboro, Nancy Young of Effingham, other relatives and many friends.<span style=""> </span> Larry was preceded in death by his parents and an infant daughter, Larya Sue Rosson.</span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong style=""><span style="font-size: 13pt; font-family:"><span style="">           </span> Funeral services for Mr. Larry Gene Rosson will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 10:00 am at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Rev. Jack Richardson officiating.<span style=""> </span> Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, December 3 from 5 until 8:00 pm.<span style=""> </span> Interment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery.</span></strong></p>
