Larry Joe Webb Sr.

<p class="p1">Larry Joe Webb Sr., 67, of Ullin, and formerly of Jonesboro, died at 3:46 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2014, at his home.</p><p class="p1">He was born on Oct. 21, 1947, in Jonesboro, the son of Wilson and Verna Gentry Webb.</p><p class="p1">He married Betty Rhomane Echols on June 20, 1981, and they were married for 33 years.</p><p class="p1">He attended Ullin Baptist Church. He worked for the Illinois Mineral Co. in Elco and also did side work as a painter and a maintenance man. He liked to fish, work outside and woodworking.</p><p class="p1">Survivors include his wife, Betty Rhomane Webb of Ullin; a son, Larry Joe (Lora) Webb Jr. of Jonesboro; grandsons Adam Michael (Jeanette) Webb and Tyler Joseph (Jenna) Webb of Jonesboro; great-granddaughter, Kimber Ross Webb of Jonesboro; sisters Edna Lucille Eastwood of Anna, Patsy Marie Clutts of Murphysboro and Joyce Kay (Topper) Eastin of Stonefort; a brother, W.M. Leon Webb of Pasadena, Texas; a special caregiver, Steve Etter; nieces, nephews and many other relatives.</p><p class="p1">He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Hazel Lucinda Slusher, Virgie Mae Spurlock, Helen Irene Compton, Phyllis Anna Webb, Glenda Sue McIntyre and Betty Jean Gerberding; and brothers Glen Junior Webb, Donald Wilson Webb and Bobby Wayne Webb.</p><p class="p1">Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12, at Crain Funeral Home in Ullin, with the Rev. Jeff Starr officiating.
