Leonard Howard “L.H.” Weiss

<strong>Mr. Leonard Howard “L.H.” Weiss, age 89 of Florissant, Missouri, formerly of Alto Pass, died Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at his home in Florissant, MO. He was born October 28, 1923 in Herrin, Illinois, the son of Ralph and Viola (Jones) Weiss. He married Peggy Rendleman on December 5, 1946 in Jackson, Missouri.</strong>

<strong>         L. H.  is survived by his loving wife, Peggy Weiss of Florissant, MO; two sons, Randy (Harriet) Weiss of Little Rock, AR., and Darryl (Debbie) Weiss of St. Peters, MO; six grandchildren, Daniel Weiss, Anthony Weiss, Randy Weiss, Derric Weiss, Dallas Spinale, Derrin Weiss; five great grandchildren, Carson, Kenzie and Brock Spinale, Marley and Kalina Weiss; one brother, Ralph N. Weiss of Florida; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Mildred Hansen and June Hoss.</strong>

<strong>         L.H. was a member of the Harvester Baptist Church in Harvester, MO. and was a member of the Alto Pass Masonic Lodge. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII in Pattons 3<sup>rd</sup> 943 Field Artillery Battalion.</strong>

<strong>         L.H. worked for many years with McDonald Douglas.</strong>

<strong>         Funeral services for Mr. Leonard Howard Weiss will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 5, 2013 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Alto Pass with Rev. Clifford Heil officiating. Interment will be in the Alto Pass Cemetery. Graveside military honors will be conducted by the Carroll P. Foster Post #3455 of the V.F.W. in Anna and the Illinois National Guard Military Funeral Honors Team of Marion. Friends may call after 12:00 noon and until the funeral hour on Saturday, January 5, 2012 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Alto Pass. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.</strong>
