Lester Darren "Bulldog" Lewellyn

<p class="p1">Lester Darren "Bulldog" Lewellyn was born on March 2, 1973, in Elgin, the son of Lester and Janice Tweedy Lewellyn. He died on Jan. 16, 2015, in Dallas, Texas.</p><p class="p1">Survivors include his wife, Mercedes Lewellyn; a son, Christian Alton Lewellyn; his mother, Janice Lewellyn; brothers Jack Lewellyn, Tim Alford and wife Susan and Ron Alford and wife Ingrid; and a special nephew, Sean Lewellyn.</p><p class="p1">Mr. Lewellyn was preceded in death by his father, Lester E. Lewellyn; a brother, John Lewellyn; and grandparents Lester and Mary Lewellyn and Clarence and Virgie Tweedy.</p><p class="p1">A memorial service was held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, at Williams Memorial Chapel in Garland, Texas. A committal service was held at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 26, at DFW National Cemetery. A separate service is planned at 1 p.m. on March 1 in Anna.</p>
