Margie Wallace Hayden

Margie Wallace Hayden, 101, of Anna, and formerly of Mounds, died at 3:50 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, at the Union County Long Term Care Facility.

She was born on April 22, 1911, in America in Pulaski County, the daughter of Charles Henry and Jennie Lin Blanton Wesenberg.

She is survived by her two sons, William O. Wallace III of Cape Girardeau, and Dr. Harry L. Wallace of Port Byron; 10 grandchildren, Windy (Justin) Wallace of Rodgers, Deborah (Darrell) Fontenot, Maj. Kyle (Katie) Wallace, Joshua D. Wallace, Harrison T. Wallace, Jonathan M. Wallace, Benjamin G. Wallace, Joseph Hayden Wallace, Christopher William Wallace and David A. Wallace; five great-grandchildren, Andrew Profilet, Lauren Bubulka, Zachary Fontenot, Brinley Rogers and Kade Rodgers; and one sister, Edith Lenora Hardy of Columbus, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, William O. Wallace II and Herbert Hayden; one daughter-in-law, Karen Wallace; five sisters, Ada Adaline Stewart, Bertha Murdell Dobbs, Freda Marie Wesenberg, Daisy Lin Wesenberg and Josephine Redenbo Rankin; and four brothers, Herman John, Paul Henry, Harry L. and Charles Henry Wesenberg Jr.

Graveside services will be private.

Memorials can be made to the Union County Hospital Long Term Care Facility.
