Martha A. Garrott
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%;"><strong style=""><span style="font-size: 14pt; line-height: 150%;">Mrs. Martha A. Garrott, age 87 of Jonesboro, died at 9:54 p.m. Tuesday, January 11, 2010 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. She was born February 11, 1923, the daughter of Clifford and Este Winchester Roberson. She married Don Garrott on October 2, 1943 in Cape Girardeau, MO.</span></strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 0.5in; line-height: 150%;"><strong style=""><span style="font-size: 14pt; line-height: 150%;">Martha is survived by her husband, Don of Jonesboro; one daughter Georgia (Tom) Marcovecchio of Atlanta, GA.; one granddaughter, Kim (Josh) Hicks of Americus, GA., other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Noel Dean Garrott; one sister, Sarah Lewis; and one brother, Charles Roberson.</span></strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent: 0.5in; line-height: 150%;"><strong style=""><span style="font-size: 14pt; line-height: 150%;">Martha was a member of the First Baptist Church in Jonesboro for many years. She retired from Choate Mental Health after 21 years as an LPN.</span></strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%;"><strong style=""><span style="font-size: 14pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style=""> </span> Funeral services for Mrs. Martha A. Garrott will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday January 15, 2011 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro with Rev. Joe Aldridge officiating. Interment will be in the Anna Cemetery. Friends may call 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, January 14, 2011 at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Memorials may be made to the Sunshine Inn or the First Baptist Church in Jonesboro.
