Mary Pizzo

Mary Pizzo, 88, of Anna, and formerly of Chicago, died at 6:05 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 31, 2009, at Union County Hospital in Anna.

She was born on March 27, 1921, in Franklin, La., the daughter of Vincent and Carolyn Pizzo.

She is survived by a nephew, Phillip Sansone of The Villages, Fla., other relatives and many friends.

According to her wishes, her body was cremated and services and burial will be private at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
