Moose Riders make presentation to local food pantry

Anna Moose Lodge 1346 Moose Riders recently presented a truckload of food to Paula Stairs, Union County coordinator for the Shawnee Development Council food pantry.

Proceeds collected from a recent motorcycle run were used to purchase the food for the local pantry.

Stairs said she was extremely appreciative of the donation.

Stairs said donations were appreciated any time of the year, but at this time the pantry and people in Union County could use the items.

Anna Moose Riders are planning to conduct a motorcycle run each year to raise funds for the food pantry.
