‘Little Mermaid’ to be staged

The theater department at Shawnee Community College is planning to present “Disney’s The Little Mermaid” as its 28th annual fall production.

Performances are set for 7 p.m. on Nov. 3-4 in the educational center on the college’s main campus near Ullin.

The college’s presentation of “Disney’s The Little Mermaid” is the result of a special arrangement with Music Theatre International in New York, N.Y. 

This year’s co-producer sponsors are City National Bank of Metropolis and Regional Primary Care Inc. of Cape Girardeau.

Tickets are on sale. Ticket prices are $10 for adults, $5 for children 12 and under and $3 for Shawnee Community College students.
