City of Anna revises schedule for pool

Revised information has been released this week for the 2019 season at the Anna City Pool.

The pool officially opened on May 29. City officials say the pool has been a busy place since its opening, with more than 100 swimmers daily.

The city has announced that there no longer will be a minimum of 15 swimmers required to open the pool for public swimming from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

Prices for admission remain the same: $3 for those 3 years of age and older. Each Wednesday offers $1 off admission. A 10-day pass option is available for $25.

Closings of the pool are noted for Blue Dolphin swim team meets during the 2019 season.

The pool is scheduled to be closed to public swimming on Saturday, June 22, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The pool is scheduled to close at 5 p.m. on June 25, July 16 and July 18.

City officials encourage the community to come out to the pool to support the Blue Dolphins at their meets.

The pool’s schedule, as well as all pool-related information, can be found on the City of Anna’s website at cityofanna.org/departments/swimming-pool/.
