Cobden Elementary School students honored for showing character trait of respect

Students at Cobden Elementary School have been honored for displaying excellence in regards to the October character education trait of respect. 

Up to three students from each classroom in kindergarten through 5th grade were selected by their teachers to receive an excellence certificate and to attend an excellence breakfast. 

Following the breakfast, a raffle was held for Barnes & Noble gift cards, which were provided by the Cobden Elementary PTO. 

The following students won a gift card: Eugenio Olvera, Alex Miranda-Maldonado, Ana Rafael, Evaline Kaszubski, Parker Fisher, Madge Stevens, Sabrina Geske, Keela Kaszubski, Olive Brehm and Reid Rumfelt. 

The character education trait for November/December is caring. 

Students who were honored included, by their grade in school:

Kindergarten: Olive Brehm, Clifton Doiel, Sabrina Geske, Kevin Pearson Jr., Isabelle Quertermous and Reid Rumfelt. 

1st grade: James Bergseth, Finn Kaszubski, Brooklyn Koskela, Gage Meyer and Alex Miranda-Maldonado.

2nd grade: Juan Aguilar-Garcia, Jesus Carmona, Gabby Eubanks, Parker Fisher, Matthew Marks and Henry Pearson.

3rd grade: Elizabeth Aguilar-Garcia, Estrella Ambrocio, Keela Kaszubski, Abigail Pitts, Thaniel Sheridan and Madge Stevens. 

4th grade: Brisa Calderon, Matthew Clover, Selena Flores, Evaline Kaszubski, Miriam Murillo-Rafael and Eugenio Olvera. 

5th grade: James Eagle, Matthew Howell, Grant Miller, Kaden Miller, Mariana Palmerin and Ana Rafael.
