Junior Naturalist day camp set

A Junior Naturalist day camp is planned June 24-28 at Giant City State Park near Makanda.

The camp is scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon each day. Activities are designed for children who are 6 to 9 years of age.

Campers will have opportunities to explore creeks, woods and rocks to look for insects, birds, mammals, reptiles, birds, fish and flowers.

Each day is scheduled to have a different nature theme and will include a game and take-home craft.
