Movies in the Park planned Friday night

The Union County Chamber of Commerce is planning to present a Movies in the Park event Friday night, July 21.

The free event will be at the Anna City Park in Anna.

“The Sandlot” is scheduled to be the featured movie. The movie will be shown at dusk.

Those who plan to attend are advised to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets. 

Donations also will be accepted for a Union County school supply drive.

Soda, water, candy, popcorn and Jus10’s Frozen Yogurt will be featured.

Future Movies in the Park films are slated to include “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” on Friday, Sept. 15, and “Captain Underpants” on Friday, Oct. 27.

Local sponsors are joining the chamber of commerce to present Movies in the Park.
