Pulaski County Fair scheduled
The Pulaski County Fair is planned in Pulaski from Sunday, Aug. 14, to Saturday, Aug. 20.
Highlights of the fair week schedule follow:
Sunday, Aug. 14
A parade will be in downtown Pulaski at 5 p.m.
A community worship service and gospel singing will be at the pavilion at 7 p.m. The service is open to the public.
There will be no midway entertainment. Parking and admission are free.
Monday, Aug. 15
Kids Fun Night includes the pig scramble, pedal tractor pull and more, starting at 7 p.m.
There will be no midway entertainment.
Tuesday, Aug. 16
Exhibit judging for hogs, sheep and goats will begin at 10 a.m.
The Junior Miss and Little Miss Pageant begins at 7 p.m. in the pavilion.
Admission to the fair is $7 for adults and $5 for children.
Wednesday, Aug. 17
Cattle judging begins at 10 a.m.
The IHFSPA and Natural Aspirated and Stock Tractor Pulls begins at 7 p.m. Admissions is $7 for adults and $5 for children.
The Heartland Idol contest begins at 7 p.m. in the pavilion. This event is free.
It's also armband night on the midway. An armband costs $15, from 6 p.m. to close.
Thursday, Aug. 18
ATV/UTV Mud Races begin at 7 p.m. Pit passes are $20.
"The Theory" will perform at 7 p.m. in the pavilion.

Friday, Aug. 19
Late Model and Compact Demolition Derby begins at 7 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children. Pit passes are $20.

Saturday, Aug. 20
The 4x4 Mud Races start at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children. Pit passes are $20.

Exhibits
Exhibit entries close Monday, Aug. 15 at 6 p.m. All exhibits must be in place by 10 p.m. Monday.
All exhibits must be picked up between 9 a.m. and noon on Saturday, Aug. 20.
