SIEC annual meeting set at Shawnee

Southern Illinois Electric Cooperative plans to have its annual meeting Thursday, today, at Shawnee Community College near Ullin.

The meeting will be in the educational center at the college. Registration is planned from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Entertainment is scheduled from 5 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. Kids’ prize giveaways will be at 5:50 p.m.

The meeting begins at 6 p.m. A business meeting is set for 6:10 p.m.

Registered members will receive a $15 bill credit and a gift for attending. Members are asked to bring registration papers which were found in July bills. Member prize drawings are planned.

Those who plan to attend are invited to bring canned goods to exchange for LED bulbs.
