State senator planning to host regional listening tour meeting

State Sen. Terri Bryant, R-Murphysboro, is planning to host a regional listening tour meeting on Thursday, Oct. 7, in Anna.

The in-person town hall government event is scheduled from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium at Anna-Jonesboro Community High School, which is located at 608 S. Main St.

Bryant is scheduled to be joined by her Illinois Senate colleagues, State Sen. Jason Plummer, R-Edwardsville, and State Sen. Dale Fowler, R-Harrisburg.

The legislators are touring the region, seeking to talk with residents and to get a better understanding of the issues that are of concern to them, their families and neighbors.
