Stinson Library summer reading program underway

Kids from pre-kindergarten to 8th grade flexed their super skills at the second week of the Stinson Library summer reading program in Anna. The theme this year is "Every Hero Has a Story." The program uses superhero activities and stories to motivate kids to continue reading even when school is not in session. During the second week, Stinson Library's Ms. Beth read "10 Rules of Being a Superhero" to the kids and helped them protect their secret identities with different kinds of masks. The program will conclude with a finale and prize party on Thursday, July 28, at the Anna library. Photos by Amber Skelton.
