U. S. Farm Report to host live episode at SIU
The U.S. Farm Report, a nationally syndicated weekly television program, will be filming an episode live at the Southern Illinois University Carbondale Campus on July 24.
For decades, U.S. Farm Report has brought weekly news and stories from the world of agriculture and agribusiness. Hosted by Tyne Morgan, the news magazine-style format includes features on market forecasts, weather, agriculture business profiles and environmental conservation.
Southern Illinois University Carbondale will be partnering with Legence Bank and American Farm Mortgage & Financial services to co-host the live event.
The theme of the episode will be “Future of Agriculture: Ask the Analysts.” Market analysts Chip Nellinger from Blue Reef Agri-Marketing and Bob Utterback from Utterback Marketing will be featured on the show. Members of the local agriculture community are invited to attend the recording to ask questions and get advice from the experts.
The event is free and open to the public. The taping will be held on July 24 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the SIU Student Center Ballroom. A vendor exhibit will be open before the show from 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
