Union County Hospital District Auxiliary planning to host luau

Union County Hospital Auxiliary invites the community to attend a luau.

The celebration is planned from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, in the fellowship room at the United Methodist Church in Anna. The church is located along West Monroe Street.

Auxiliary volunteers who have reached certain hour levels will be recognized.

This year, the auxiliary will award three, $1,500 scholarships and will also renew two, $1,000 scholarships.

The auxiliary’s hospital gift shop will award one, $1,500 scholarship.

The scholarships are awarded to persons who are seeking a degree in a health-related field.

Light refreshments will be served at the luau.

An opportunity also will be available to support the auxiliary with a membership. Dues are $10.
