Young artist workshops planned at LEAA in Marion

A four day young artists' workshops will be held July 19 through 22 at the Little Egypt Arts Association in Marion. Other classes are Mondays at 4 p.m. at Missy's Studio.

The July location is the Arts Centre on the downtown square in Marion (the building with the mural)

Class 1 Ages 4-8 (age 4 and 5 with a caregiver present): Noon to 1 p.m. Cost is $35.

Class 2 Ages 9 and up: 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Cost is $35.

Students will learn drawing/cartooning, painting, printmaking, and clay. New and returning students welcome. All supplies is included in class fee. Students and caregivers, are encouraged to wear old clothes.

Missy Carstens has been teaching art to people of all ages for 26 years. Adult art classes and painting parties are also available.
